Stingray City

Approximately 25 minutes by boat from Seven Mile Beach is the famous Stingray City (a reef-protected dive site described as the best 12ft dive in the world) and the Sandbar (or Stingray Sandbar), a natural sand-bottomed aquarium with about waist-deep water in the middle of the North Sound. The area is famous for having a large congregation of friendly southern stingrays, where visitors can swim and interact with these magnificent creatures. The rays at Stingray City are remarkably docile and are accustomed to human interaction.

Pedro St James

Step back in time and experience the history and heritage that blossoms at Pedro St James National Historic Site! Known by locals as ‘Pedro Castle,’ this Great House is the oldest surviving stone structure in the Cayman Islands and is home to many cultural and historical tales.

Cayman Turtle Centre

At the Centre, you can get up close and learn more about these magnificent creatures, their habits, lifecycle, and development as part of a complete interactive wildlife conservation experience. At this first-of-its-kind wildlife conservation experience, visit majestic Green sea turtles, swim alongside playful young turtles, and maybe even watch tiny hatchlings emerge from their nest as you learn how its innovative approach to conservation has reduced poaching and increased the number of sea turtles in the wild.

Cayman Crystal Caves

One of Cayman’s newest and most popular tourist attractions: Situated in a lush tropical forest in Northside, Grand Cayman, Cayman Crystal Caves is the island’s newest nature tourist attraction.  A crystal caves tour will take approximately 1 ½ hours and take you through the surrounding tropical forest area and three caves.

Botanical Gardens

The Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park was opened by Queen Elizabeth herself in 1994 and is Cayman’s only botanical garden. The 65-acre park is dedicated to preserving local flora and fauna and is famous for its Blue Iguana Conservation Facility, which is the only place in Grand Cayman where you will find the Blue Iguana, a magnificent endangered creature.

Bio Bay

There are only a handful of destinations where you can experience the Bioluminescence phenomenon and Cayman is fortunate enough to be one of them!

In order to experience the full Bioluminescence phenomenon, this tour requires a dark sky in order for the bioluminescence to be seen at its best. Therefore, most companies only operate this tour at certain times of the moon cycle.

Tukka

For a taste of Australia with a Caribbean twist, look no further than Tukka Restaurant and Bar.

They have locations in West Bay and East End, but we would recommend East End for their daily bird feedings at 5 pm and the opportunity to see some sharks!
